Funding Opportunity for Organic or Transition-to-Organic Growers
Your hemp crop may not be considered USDA organic yet, but the Kentucky Hemp Research Foundation has an organic funding opportunity for you anyways!
The 2016 growing season is underway and we are committed to fueling the organic hemp industry forward! We are offering limited funding to help you with some of the costs associated with growing hemp using organic methods.
Organic Hemp Trial
Are you an organic grower or transitioning to organics with hemp? If so, the Kentucky Hemp Research Foundation (KHRF) is opening an allocation of $500 in organic materials to help with your organic growing operations for the 2016 hemp growing season.
If you are interested, please fill out the following application and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once approved, the KHRF will help supply you with organic materials, but please apply soon, the deadline is June 16th and funding is limited.
Don’t let this opportunity pass you by!
1. Growers must provide proof of legal participation in a Hemp Pilot Program.
2. Given the limited funding available, small family-farms will receive preferential treatment so that more producers are positively impacted with the available funds.
Due Date: June 16th, 2016
This effort is an extension of the Kentucky Hemp Research Foundation’s GoOrganic! Program. The funding was made available through the generous donation of Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps to the KHRF’s GoOrganic! Program.
